Cats Watching "The Life of Birds"

I try not to put tons of cute cat photos here, but when I discovered that they loved watching "The Life of Birds" I felt that was entirely appropriate for this birdwatching blog.

Fascinated by a canvasback duck.

Yes, that owl has a small rodent in its mouth.

The short video below shows Orion interacting with the screen. The light and sound aren't very good.

These are just too funny! I guess it's just hard wired for cats to want birds.

Do not surrender your remote to the cats. You will never get it back.

Ha! The video/DVD remote stopped working months ago, so it will do them no good. As you see, we are a low-tech household as far as TV goes. Every time (like once every three months) we try to actually watch broadcast TV, I have to figure out all over again how to operate the digital converter box.

Ha! Those are awfully sweet.

I was just watching our kitties as they stared at our new humongous TV this morning. There weren't even any birds on, I thought we should at least leave a nature channel on for them!

Interesting story you got here. It would be great to read a bit more concerning that topic. Thanx for sharing that information.
